The National Identity Exchange Federation is a collection of agencies in the U.S. that have come together to share sensitive law enforcement and public safety information. Many of the administrative facilities of the federation are run by the Georgia Tech Research Institute, including this wiki, which was created to help share technical details about how to implement systems for use within NIEF.
